Monday morning Grace had her check up with the Dr that saw her in the hospital. Grace gained 3 oz, now weighing 7 lbs 5 oz. She definitely likes to eat! We also got a prescription for medicine for acid reflux. Her big brother Nathan still deals with reflux, so when Grace started showing some of the same symptoms, the doctor agreed to try some medication. We are hoping the medication will help with her discomfort! We go for our next check up in a month.
Monday night, big sister Rose helped with Grace's sponge bath. This was a wonderful girls bonding time for all three of us. The boys were at baseball, so it was nice to have my two daughters home with me!
The adoption process has been an emotional roller coaster, but I would not change anything about it. Grace is a blessing and joy to have in our lives! We will forever be grateful to Deidra and Aaron (birth parents) for their loving sacrifice to allow us to raise their beautiful daughter.
