Grace loves to sleep in her swing. 

Today was a momentous day for our family.

7 weeks old

Grace's birthparents terminated their parental rights in court today which means that Grace is staying in our house for good no matter what. Up until today the birthparents could have changed their minds and decided to parent Grace. We are so grateful for their decision to allow us to raise Grace.

The next milestone will be in December when we officially adopt Grace and get a new birth certificate and social security card with her name Grace Claire Andera.

Last Friday we had a visit with birthmom, Deidra. She told us that she will be moving to North Dakota with her boyfriend, but will be coming back here every month to stay in touch. 

We are looking forward to Grace's first road trip next week when we all travel out to the Black Hills for a trip to family camp.
